9 Things To Do in Bristol Now It’s Freezing

It’s cold. So very cold in Bristol

After one of the mildest Christmases for a long time in Bristol a cruel twist of fate has happened as winter has actually turned up with temperatures plummeting. But never fear there’s plenty of things to do in Bristol now it’s freezing.

1. Have a pint in a pub with a roaring fire

Bristol has plenty of pubs with open fires. Give these 3 a try:

2. Get cosy and have a coffee in some of Bristol’s best coffee houses

3. Pop into one of Bristol’s many museums. You can check out ‘death the human experience’ until the 13th of March at the moment

4. Take off your gloves and see the ‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year’ exhibition at the M Shed

5. Snuggle up in one of Bristol’s cinemas… we recommend watching ‘The Room’ on February 12th at the Redgrave Theatre

6. Get a hot chocolate and indulge in some of Bristol’s best bakeries and cakeries

7. Nurse your cold heart with 11 places to eat some great food

8. Huddle together in a group and do a pub quiz

Monday: ‘The Flyer’ on Gloucester Road

Tuesday: ‘The Brass Pig’ in Clifton

Wednesday: ‘The Christmas Steps’ on the Christmas Steps

Thursday: ‘The Hare on the Hill’ in Kingsdown

Sunday: ‘The Spotted Cow’ in Fishponds

9. Warm those fingers with some bowling at The Lanes

Hopefully you’ll be a bit warmer now. Alternatively just turn the heating up, open a can of natch and laugh at those foolish enough to go outside in this weather.
