If you’re looking for the perfect pub hang out this Saturday, the Steam Crane is opening its doors for a Saturday Session, with DJs spinning vinyl all day and cheap pints on the bar, as well as great prizes in a charity raffle.
From 4 till late, the 1000lb Sound DJs will be pumping out a wide variety of tunes, from 90s hip hop and old school garage, to soul, reggae and dancehall.
The day has been organised by Lucy Rider:
“I love a good session in a pub, and wanted to put on a day with great music and decent beer and basically create a fun atmosphere for everyone who attends!
I’ve been raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society for a couple of years and figured it’s a good opportunity to help a great cause, so there’ll be a couple of charity buckets to throw your shrapnel in to, and also the chance to win prizes from a raffle on the day.’
Entry is free and proceeds from the day will go towards the Alzheimer’s Society. Raffle prizes include whisky, gin, wine and vouchers for local restaurants.
