Why you need to be hella excited about the Food Connections festival

You may have seen the flyers, the printed programme, or the brilliant website – Food Connections is back!
From 29th April – 7th May, Bristol will be inundated with talks, workshops, dinners and markets – all to teach you more about good food, and celebrating some of the amazing food businesses, people and projects we have in this fair city.

The amount of events is IMMENSE this year, so I suggest you take a look through their programme and see what tickles your fancy, otherwise, here are a few suggestions to get you started (make sure you get tickets to my Food Tour of Easton too, yeah?)
I’d also recommend getting yourself a Food Card so that you can take part in the mega Food Trail across the city – tons of local businesses are offering special deals to card holders, so you can fill up between events!

Bristol Food Connections Talks

There is a multitude of speakers throughout the week, including chefs, business owners and even MPs. Join in a debate!

Classes

Don’t just go along to listen – learn somat too!

The Fringe Festival

The biggest part of the festival; again it’s worth looking through the full listings to find something tailored to your interests, but here are just a few highlights:

Community Events

A really nice addition to the programme this year are these local events aimed at bringing communities together to make and share food. Lovely stuff!
I’ve already booked a pile of tickets – let me know what you’re going to, or say hello if you spot me at one of the events or markets throughout the week!
