    Bambalan opens on Colston Tower

    Proprietors of some of the best places in Bristol – Hyde & Co, Milk Thistle, The Ox and Pata Negra have opened their newest venture called Bambalan.

    They’ve turned the garish Colston Tower first floor which was previously being used as a bus ticket office and social club into a beautiful space that’s going to be immensely popular as summer arrives.

    Throwing a slight curve ball this time they’re serving ‘explosive Mediterranean/North African’ food with their usual brilliance when it comes to drinks.

    There’s even rotisserie chicken!

    You’ll also find some of the craftiest takeaway coffee mugs in Bristol with coffee and breakfast in Bristol available from 7am which will no doubt make this an incredibly popular spot for the Broadmead commuters.

    The interior is incredible, featuring the loud blue and yellow branding, which gives a unique twist to their usual bars.

    Finally and absolutely the icing of the cake is the outside garden.

    On one side you’ve got the smoking area which features two table tennis tables (warning, they will fly off onto passers by). Whilst on the higher terrace there is one of the best sun traps you’ll find in Bristol.

    Yet again they’ve turned a drab place into something that will be a must visit destination. Get ready to spend your summer here.
