There’s A Month Of Awesome Cocktail Nights Happening In Bristol Soon

A month-long celebration of quirky cocktail events at some of Bristol’s best bars.

There’s no denying that Bristol is one of the best cities in the UK for awesome bars and great cocktails. Hot off the back of this, Bristol’s leading food and drinks events company, Foozie, is hosting the city’s first ever Bristol on the Rocks event series.

With events being hosted at some of the best bars in Bristol, Foozie’s event series will bring together some seriously quirky event concepts and incredible cocktails for a month-long celebration.

Events already confirmed are:

Thursday 6th April: Oh, Grow up!

The ultimate kids party with gelato based cocktails, cocktail based gelato and kids party games @ Swoon

Saturday 8th April: The Wall Street Brunch

​An Wolf of Wall Street themed brunch party @ Milk Thistle

Wednesday 12th April: The Nutella Nightcap

Bristol’s first ever cocktail event based totally around Nutella @ The Parlour

Thursday 20th April: Drink Dastardly

​A wacky races themed cocktail event – who will catch the pigeon? @ Her Majesty’s Secret Service

Friday 21st April: Gin for the Win

​Spin to win gin at this 80s game show Inspired cocktail night ft. the wheel of gin-fortune and play your cards right @ Flipside Cocktail Club

Tuesday 25th April: Sex and the Town Centre

Join Samantha, Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda for a screening of the first Sex and the City movie and three cocktails inspired by the show @ Pata Negra

Thursday 27th April: The Tipsy Barista

​An espresso martini masterclass with the chance to create your own, signature creation and get it permanently added to the menu, ft. live blues music @ The Bootlegger

Sunday 30th: Club Tropicana Boat Party

All aboard the ‘Wham! boat’ for our Club Tropicana boat party. Expect a tropical theme and a George Michael, 90’s inspired playlist and tropical fancy dress.

Foozie founder and Bristol food and drink fanatic Thom Whitchurch said of the event:

“We’re pulling out all of the stops for Foozie’s first Bristol on the Rocks series. We have been working closely with some of our favourite bars to create these amazing but wacky concepts become a reality. We love to do things a bit differently and most of our events start as just a really cool event title and we work out the concept around the name; which is how most of Bristol on the Rocks has been developed. It has been great working with the bars to help shape this series. It’s going to be really special.”
