So…..after quite a break we are ready to open again. As you would Imagine we have made a few changes. The new rules are there to protect you and our staff so please be understanding and respect the staff if you are asked to adjust your behaviour in some way.

Some of our new measures include, daily staff temperature checks, hourly cleaning schedules for tables and other high contact areas, sanitiser stations for customers, lowered maximum capacity and single use menus.

We will have a QR code available (and paper forms for those that prefer) for you to log your attendance at the pub for test and trace. Although not compulsory we would ask that customers log visits to help T&T if they need it. All details will be destroyed after 21 days.

Most of the new rules will be on signs in the pub but here are a few of the headline changes.

• Please pay attention to signage in the pub.
• We may need to operate a ‘one out one in’ policy if we get busy.
• At present we are not operating table ordering but we will be using table service where possible.
• If doors are propped open, please do not close them.
• Please do not move tables.
• If you have children with you, they need to stay with you at your table.
• No more than six at a table.
• If you are going to the bar (outside tables only) please stand back and don’t lean on the bar.
• Please use contactless if possible.
• Please leave the bar immediately after service.
• Please use the outdoor areas where possible.
• Please wash your hands before leaving the toilets (as you would normally).

Like everyone, we are working hard to make this a success. We are really pleased to be opening again but we all have to work together for the system to be viable.
