Easy Jose Coffee Roasters are a sustainability focused coffee roaster, based near Glastonbury. As a company we have been working extremely hard to provide one of the most ethical and sustainable coffee across the U.K. and Europe. We have developed a range of coffee’s sourced directly from Indigenous Communities based in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru.

These communities protect all plants, tree’s and wildlife from deforestation whilst growing their coffee naturally in the rainforest, rather than mass deforestation to create a coffee farm. Easy Jose travels to Peru every year to work directly with tribal chief and the communities. The indigenous communities we directly trade with, uphold key principles to grow sustainably, including - No deforestation, No pesticides, No chemical additives and no mechanical farming. All of our coffee is hand picked and shade grown directly under the amazon rainforest canopy, their work produces a beautiful cup of coffee with tasting notes of almond, honey and chocolate.

We have been working with the Mayni community for over 3 years and we have recently signed a 5 year contract to ensure they have our commitment long term. We directly trade with the farmers passing our knowledge of coffee growing to the indigenous community. Our work with the Mayni Community is a long term project, as time passes we will continue to heavily invest in the community not only in the infrastructure for the coffee growing but the village infrastructure itself, wholly to benefit the community.

Recently we were awarded the 2020 Indy Best Specialty Coffee Brand by The Independent Newspaper. This award was decided against multiple aspects of business including - coffee taste, company ethics and sustainability.
