ALL the mac n cheese is coming to Bristol

Bristol has a few places that do mac n cheese, but they are few and far between. But The Urban Standard are stepping up to the cheesy plate by announcing the launch of their Mid-Week Mac; Bristol’s first ever regular Mac ‘n’ Cheese night.

Every Wednesday, starting from September 20th, visitors to The Standard’s Gloucester Road branch will be able to order from an exclusive new Mac ‘n’ Cheese menu, which pays homage to the fromage.

Created by head chef Jasper, the menu features epic new flavour combinations including Beef & Blue and Chimichurri Sweet Potato and Shrimp, just to name a few. The new additions sit alongside The Standard’s signature Dirty Mac ‘n’ Cheese, which has been a firm favourite with customers since the bar and kitchen opened its doors on Gloucester Road in 2014.

The team at Urban have always respected Mac ‘n’ Cheese as a main dish and wanted to shine a spotlight on this classic and delicious comfort food. And, if that wasn’t enough for you, how does a Mac ‘n’ Cheese burger sound? Yes, you cheddar believe it.

To celebrate the launch of Mid-Week Mac, Urban Standard will be hosting the cheesiest launch party the city has ever seen! With an evening exclusively dedicated to the new menu, a selection of spirits, cocktails and The Standard’s own IPA, plus a DJ playing nonstop cheesy hits! Join them on Wednesday 20th from 7.30pm at Urban Standard Gloucester Road for your first chance to sample the best Mac ‘n’ Cheese on offer – but which one will be your favourite?

Expect puns a plenty, It’s going to be GRATE!
