How much does Bristol like its bus service?

After last year’s day rider rise from £4 to £4.40, Bristol First Bus service managed to inspire an unbelivable amount of social media raff.

Currently there’s a Facebook group called “First Bus Is Not A Public Service – It’s A Disgrace.” with a staggering 1024 members, and you better believe they’re not happy.

 

Another group called: “Brizzle Bus Wankers (for bristol people who suffer the buses)“. Posting great stuff like this:

A Facebook page named “First Bus in Bristol are Completely and Utterly Useless” that literally reports their daily experiences using the bus.

 

Meanwhile on Twitter there are at least 5 dedicated anti First/Bristol bus accounts, First Bus Fails. Bus Bristol, First Bus Bristol.  Bristol Bus Fares, Bristol Bus Users. With plenty of general Tweeters who are ticked off:

A woman even invoiced First for £100 for the amount of time she spend waiting for late bus

She later managed to get some free First bus tickets out of them.

However not everyone hates them: 

Occasionally the drivers can go above and beyond.

But occasionally somehow destroy fluffy boots by being late.
